CHEMISTRY LAB EXEMPTION (XMT) REQUEST
A lab exemption (XMT) may be granted for students who have previously taken a chemistry course within the last two years and passed the lab portion of the course with a mark of 50% or higher. If a student is repeating a chemistry course and qualifies for the XMT waiver, the previous lab grade, which accounts for 20% of the total chemistry mark, will be used again.

PREREQUISITE / COREQUISITE WAIVER REQUEST
Prerequisite and corequisite waivers allow students to enroll in a course for which they do not have the necessary course requirements. In order to qualify for a waiver, the onus is on the student to demonstrate evidence of prior course knowledge of the prerequisite/corequisite.
Applications are valid only for the term granted and are not transferable to another course with similar requirements. Please note that satisfying eligibility criteria does not guarantee approval.
