Formal education (B.Eng., M.Sc., and Ph.D.) from University of Veszprém in oil and carbon technology, organic/organometallic chemistry, and computational chemistry. Two postdoctoral training at Emory University (Morokuma lab: computational chemistry) and Stanford University (Solomon/Hodgson/Hedman labs: synchrotron spectroscopy and electronic structure). Independent academic research at Montana State University in theoretically oriented, structural and functional inorganic/bioinorganic/organometallic chemistry; visiting professor positions at Ibaraki University, University of Pannonia, Hokkaido University, Eotvos Lorand University. Extensive international collaborations, past funded research programs from NSF, NASA, JSPS, and Hungarian Academy of Sciences.
